Sri Gop\u00e2l Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mi has stated that Srip\u00e2d Lil\u00e2shuk is saying, &#8220;As soon I think of the childish pranks <!--more-->of Mukunda, I lose my mind in His remembrance and His picture refuses to leave my heart.\u201d Actually, when we remember Mukunda we forget even the bliss of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">moksha<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: &quot;Comic Sans MS&quot;;\">The poet describes his mind as, \u2018<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">lampat-samprad\u00e2ya <\/em><\/strong>(<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"> <\/strong>a sect comprising of lewd or lecherous people)<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">-lekh\u00e2valehini<\/em><\/strong><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">\u2019,<\/em> meaning, \u2018my mind is such that it is lusting<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>to relish the various literature written by <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">saj\u00e2tiya<\/em> devotees who belong to such a <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">samprad\u00e2y<\/em> where it is their custom to lust for the relish of Sri Krishna\u2019s sweet loving <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras<\/em>.\u2019<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">How is the Kishor Mukunda? He is <strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\">\u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">rasagya-manogya-vesham\u2019<\/em><\/strong><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">,<\/em> meaning, \u2018His attire attracts the connoisseurs of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras (rasagya)\u2019. \u2018Rasagya\u2019<\/em> are those people who are expert in the knowledge of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras<\/em>. They consider <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras<\/em> to be the ultimate goal of their lives. They find His attire comprising of the flute, garland of wild flowers, <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">kaustubh<\/em> and <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">chud\u00e2<\/em> (that is adorned with peacock feathers) as highly captivating. Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is a worshipper in the mood of a <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopi<\/em>. It is this attire of Sri Krishna that attracts the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em>. Sri Krishna cannot steal their hearts if He is groomed in any other style.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">&#8220;Most definitely Sri Krishna cannot entice the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopik\u00e2s<\/em> in any form other than that of Vrajendra-nandan. If Krishna forsakes this attire and takes on any other look, the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis\u2019<\/em> sentiments will not go anywhere near Him.\u201d<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>&#8211; [C.C.Antya.17.271-273.]<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">We find in Sri Chaitanya-Charit\u00e2mrita [\u00c2di, 17<sup><span style=\"font-size: small;\">th<\/span><\/sup> chapter] that during the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Vasanta<a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn1;\" name=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"#_ftn1\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>-R\u00e2s <\/em>at Govardhan, Sri Krishna had appeared before the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em> with four hands. The <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis <\/em>took Him to be N\u00e2r\u00e2yan, paid obeisance and continued their search for Him. Ultimately when He saw Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2, He could not hold on to this form and two of the hands disappeared on their own. Thus, He was forced to reveal His two-handed form playing the flute. Sri Krishna had tried to keep His fourhanded form to tease Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2, but was unsuccessful. In the drama Sri Lalita-M\u00e2dhav, we find that when Nava-Vrind\u00e2 and Bakul\u00e2 told <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">virahini<\/em> Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 in Nava-Vrind\u00e2van to worship Dw\u00e2rakan\u00e2th (Sri Krishna in the form of the Lord of Dw\u00e2rak\u00e2), She said \u2013 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">&#8220;yasya-uttamsah sphurati chikure keki-pichchha-pranito,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">harah kanthe viluthati kritah sthula gunj\u00e2-valibhih,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">venuh-vaktre rachayita ruchin hanta chetah-tato me,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">rupam vishwa-uttaram-api hareh-n\u00e2nyad-angi karoti.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">Meaning \u2013 &#8220;If His head is not beautiful due to the crown of peacock-feathers, if His neck is devoid of the swaying thick <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">gunj\u00e2<\/em>-garland and if His face is not looking gorgeous due to the enchanting flute \u2013 even though Sri Hari may be attired in some other excellent manner (without the peacock-feathers, gunj\u00e2<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">-m\u00e2l\u00e2<\/em>, and flute), my heart does not accept Him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\">Once again, how is that Kishor? He is <strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\">\u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">rajan-mridu-smita-mridu-ullasita-adhara-angshu-rakendu-lalita-mukhendu\u2019<\/em><\/strong><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">,<\/em> meaning, \u2018He is a budding youth with soft, captivating smile that makes His lips appear more beautiful than ever and arouses maximum love. Hence, His lips seem to be softly celebrating in exultation.
