My dear friend, look there, Who is That walking slowly on the path of Gokul? He is alone and has a crown of peacock-feather; His body is as gorgeous as an emerald pillar; His face has a sweet , mesmerising smile, his eyes are full of bh\u00e2v <\/em>and eagerness, His adolescent speech is soothing, and His movements are more praiseworthy than that of an intoxicated elephant! 57. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

rila Krishnad\u00e2s Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mi has written that Srimati R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni is seeing in sphurti<\/em> that Sri Krishna is coming to the kunja<\/em>. His sweetness is increasing every moment. She inquired from Her sakhi<\/em> about Him and Sri Lil\u00e2shuk has quoted Her in this verse. Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness is always new like flowing water. Srimad-Bh\u00e2gavatam has called it \u2018anusav\u00e2bhinavam\u2019<\/em> meaning, “To a loving devotee, Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness appears new every instant.\u201d The devotee relishes His sweetness according to his love. Sri Krishna has said \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

“My sweetness is always new; the devotee relishes it according to his love.\u201d \u2013 (C.C.\u00c2di.8.125)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The love of the Gopis<\/em> is so wonderful that this sweetness increases manifold in their presence.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“The bh\u00e2v<\/em> of the Gopis<\/em> is like a mirror in which Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness enhances each moment. This in turn increases the Gopis\u2019<\/em> bh\u00e2v<\/em>. Both compete with each other and neither accepts defeat. Their novelty crosses all limits.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, it is not surprising that Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness reach the zenith in Srimati R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni\u2019s proximity, since She is the crest-jewel of the Gopis<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Srimati R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni told a sakhi<\/em>, “Oyi sakhi<\/em>, Who is He, entering the kunja<\/em>-path of Sri Vrind\u00e2van alone and slowly?\u201d The Mah\u00e2jan has drawn a fine picture of Sri Krishna\u2019s sweet movements of vil\u00e2s<\/em> – <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“K\u00e2nu, the new lover-boy of Vrind\u00e2van is coming – His complexion is beautiful like that of the blue-lotus, sapphire, mascara and host of clouds, while peacock-feathers decorate His curly locks that surround His moon like face.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bh\u00e2vini\u2019s[1]<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> heart is full of bh\u00e2v <\/em>and She has lost track of day and night. She is absorbed in His sweet smile playing on His sweet lips holding the sweet flute. His arched eyebrows cast crooked glances that fling the shame of dignified women far away! <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His gait is slow and\u00a0graceful like that of an elephant while His anklets tinkle softly. Crores of Love-gods will faint if they see Him \u2013 poet Govinda d\u00e2s says \u2013 all glory to You!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
