She saw Sri Krishna approaching the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">kunja<\/em> and asked with doubt \u2013 Who is this person really? Sri Lil\u00e2shuk has <!--more-->echoed Srimati in this verse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">&#8220;Aho! What is this mass of effulgence appearing before me? Is it that youthful Krishna?\u201d She thought for a moment and decided, &#8220;This mass of effulgence has the form of a Kishor, then it must be Krishna, since His feet are like the lotus and are more beautiful than a forest of lotuses\u201d. In the 12<sup><span style=\"font-size: small;\">th<\/span><\/sup> verse the poet has said \u2013 \u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">kamala-vipin-vithi-garva-sarva-ankashabhyam<\/em>\u2019, meaning, \u2018Sri Krishna\u2019s lotus-feet are the sources of all Divine sports and they have vanquished the pride of a lotus-forest. The lotus-forest is proud because it spreads coolness, beauty, fragrance, sweetness and serenity all around. Thus, it gives pleasure to everyone. However, Sri Krishna\u2019s beautiful feet vanquish that pride since they possess those very same qualities, but to a greater degree. In this universe, whatever is beautiful, fragrant or cool is all material. They are temporary and limited. However, Sri Krishna\u2019s beauty is transcendental, condensed sat-chit-\u00e2nanda and ever new. Therefore, we cannot compare His beauty with anything material. It is incomparable. What is Her state when She hears the hypnotizing song of the flute and beholds the sweet beauty of the Flute-player? Well, the Mah\u00e2jans have given us a slight inkling of that in the following poem. Now, only if You meet Her, then She will recover and entire Gokul will rejoice. Poet Gy\u00e2na d\u00e2s says \u2013 Hear O Shy\u00e2m! Sri Krishna\u2019s arms had fulfilled their wish by going around each one at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">&#8220;<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Yogeshwar<\/em> Sri Krishna entered in between two <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em> and put His arms around them. In this manner, He commenced the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s<\/em>-festival. When we see His extremely beautiful face, we have an urge to describe it, but we are so astounded that we become speechless.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">We may also relish this verse in another way. First, the poet had a vision of only Sri Krishna\u2019s splendour. So he asked \u2013 what is this brilliance? It is enchanting my mind and eyes. Then he got a slightly clearer vision and he felt a spurt of love. Therefore, he said \u2013 Aho! Is this brilliance \u2018Kishor Krishna?\u2019 Then he got a complete vision and described Sri Krishna\u2019s most splendid feet, hands and sweet face.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Srip\u00e2d Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mi says \u2013 Sri Lil\u00e2shuk was meditating on the sweet pastimes of Sri Krishna. Therefore, he got a <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">sphurti.<\/em> He experienced His sweet beauty and recited this verse. He was dazed and was thinking, what is this soft brilliance? Is it the effulgence of Brahman? It is not possible since this brilliance has feet and they are so beautiful that they vanquish the pride of a lotus-forest!\u201d You may ask, \u2018An exalted person like Sri Kamal\u00e2<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"> Devi<\/em> (Laxmi) resides in the lotus-forest. Is it possible then, for His feet to defeat the lotus-forest?\u2019 To this the poet replies, &#8220;Yes, \u2018<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">padma-alaya-lambitau\u2019<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Sri Kamal\u00e2 <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Devi<\/em> too has left her lotus-forest and has sought shelter at His lotus-feet, don\u2019t you see that? She too is spellbound by His feet! His hands are expert at playing the flute and in all the arts. His arms shower sweetness and fulfil all the desires of the Vraja-beauties.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">After describing the sweetness of His feet, hands and arms to a small extent, the poet tried to describe the sweetness of Sri Krishna\u2019s face, but failed.
