When shall I behold His large eyes? The poet has said in the 57th<\/span><\/sup> verse, Sri Krishna\u2019s huge eyes are gazing very eagerly in love. They are wonderfully attractive.<\/span><\/p>\n

A saint poet has said \u2013 <\/span><\/p>\n

“He gazed at me with rose-tipped eyes as if He was dragging my heart with a fishing-hook.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The Mah\u00e2jan has also sung \u2013 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“He thrust a poison-tipped spear in my heart (with His eyes) and now, day and night, I am struck with love-fever.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet one cannot give up the tremendous desire to behold these eyes! Srimati said, “O when will I drink the nectar of His lips?\u201d His lips hold maximum attraction for the damsels of Vraja. When Sri Krishna abandoned them during the R\u00e2s<\/em>–leel\u00e2<\/em>, they had prayed \u2013\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“O Krishna! You have ignited our passion with Your laughing eyes and sweet song of the flute. Now please extinguish it with the shower of nectar from Your lips. Otherwise, O Friend! In the same manner, Sri Krishna\u2019s sweet face too is naughtily inviting the Gopis to kiss it. Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 was overwhelmed with great longing and bashfulness. Therefore, She was not able to complete the sentences in the verse. She was unable to add any verb. Our Gosw\u00e2mis have added the verbs in the suitable places and have then relished the verse.<\/span><\/p>\n
