\u00a0Meaning – “One day Harid\u00e2s Th\u00e2kur was sitting in a secluded place, absorbed in chanting the Mah\u00e2mantra<\/em>. He was chanting joyously with love. He was laughing, crying, singing and roaring with a deafening noise. Just then Adwaita \u00c2ch\u00e2rya entered and paid obeisance. An embarrassed Th\u00e2kur Harid\u00e2s immediately controlled himself. He returned the obeisance and offered the \u00c2ch\u00e2rya a seat. Adwaita Prabhu sat down and requested Harid\u00e2s Th\u00e2kur to solve his doubt. He said – \u2018Sri Krishna Chaitanya is the Lord God in Kaliyug<\/em>, so naturally whosoever worships Him is blessed. You are the foremost of all the associates of the Lord. Then why do you forsake the Holy Name of Sri Krishna Chaitanya and sing some other name? And what is your realization that makes you float in blissful prem?<\/em> When the Holy Name of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mah\u00e2prabhu is the topmost, then why did you instruct all living beings to chant Mah\u00e2mantra<\/em>?’<\/p>\n

\u00a0Th\u00e2kur Srila Harid\u00e2s humbly folded his palms and replied – \u2018You are the -Knower of Truth; then why do You ask me? You are only pretending not to know anything, simply to teach the fallen souls. Anyway, I shall do as You like. It is true that Sri Krishna Chaitanya is the secret avat\u00e2r<\/em> in the Kaliyug<\/em> and His divine pastimes are as deep as innumerable oceans. He takes on the role of the Spiritual Master and makes us worship Him. That is why he has given everybody Harin\u00e2m-Mah\u00e2mantra. <\/em><\/p>\n

Sri Krishna Chaitanya is the Lord God in Kaliyug<\/em> and He has given us Harin\u00e2m-Mah\u00e2mantra<\/em> that is the essence of this age.\u00a0 The Mah\u00e2mantra<\/em> is in no way different from Sri Krishna Chaitanya, since all the scriptures declare that n\u00e2m<\/em> is non-different from n\u00e2mi.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

\u00a0Then Th\u00e2kur Srila Harid\u00e2s illuminated every word of the Mah\u00e2mantra <\/em>for our relish –<\/p>\n

\u00a0“Hare<\/strong> – She Who is the daughter of Vrishabh\u00e2nu and is the crest-jewel of all the beloveds of Sri Krishna, has now descended as Sri Chaitanya, hence He is \u2018Hare’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Krishna – <\/strong>Srimad-Bh\u00e2gavatam glorifies Him as the \u2018Son of Nanda’ – <\/strong>that \u2018Krishna’ has now appeared as this Chaitanya Gos\u00e2i.<\/p>\n

Hare –<\/strong> He stole everything1<\/sup><\/a> from Vraja and descended in Nadia; hence the \u2018hare’ for Sri Krishna Chaitanya is most apt.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Krishna –<\/strong> He attracted the hearts of all living beings and sowed the seed of bhakti,<\/em> hence the \u2018Krishna’ indeed belongs to Him.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Krishna –<\/strong> He is \u2018Krishna’ within and without, and His entire being is absorbed in the sound vibration of \u2018Krishna’ – therefore we decide He is \u2018Krishna’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Krishna –<\/strong> He assumed the garb of a sanny\u00e2si <\/em>and attracted the atheists – thus He is definitely \u2018Krishna’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Hare –<\/strong> He steals the hearts and souls of the devotees with His extraordinary sweetness – this is the significance of His name \u2018Hare’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Hare – <\/strong>He steals the hearts of His devotees so that He can steal their hearts in return – for this reason Sri Chaitanya is named \u2018Hare’.<\/p>\n

Hare –<\/strong> Lord Krishna stole His Own sweetheart and ascended on earth – so Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Who is the essence of Kaliyug<\/em> is \u2018Hare’.<\/p>\n

R\u00e2m <\/strong>– The Divine Couple unite with each other and thus wander in Nabadweep in supreme pleasure, therefore Sri Chaitanya is \u2018R\u00e2m’ in this Kaliyug.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hare<\/strong> – Sri Chaitanya steals all the inauspicious qualities from the living beings, as a result, His name \u2018hare’ is most propitious.<\/p>\n

\u00a0R\u00e2m<\/strong> – He love-sports in the hearts of His devotees, hence He has the name \u2018R\u00e2m’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0R\u00e2m<\/strong> – He is passionately aroused to relish Himself, therefore Sri Chaitanya has the name \u2018R\u00e2m’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0R\u00e2m<\/strong> – Lord Chaitanya manifested His form of Sri R\u00e2m Who is the Son of queen Kaushalya and had appeared in the Tret\u00e2 yug<\/em> – consequently He is \u2018R\u00e2m’.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Hare – <\/strong>He stole Harid\u00e2s Th\u00e2kur’s heart with His sweetness; hence He got the name \u2018Hare’.<\/p>\n

Hare – <\/strong>He stole His own heart with His own sweet bh\u00e2v <\/em>and became like a tortoise. As a result He became famous in the world as \u2018Hare’.<\/p>\n
