Why is Sri Krishna\u2019s face more beautiful than the full moon?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

His pupils are supremely attractive because they are flitting from one Gopi to another. His face is more beautiful than the full moon; the moon has blemishes while Sri Krishna\u2019s moon like face is flawless. The full moon arises only at night while His moon like face shines brightly all day and night. The full moon wanes day by day, while His moon-face waxes every moment. The full moon enhances the suffering of a virahini<\/em> while his moon\u2013face soothes her burning heart and immerses her in supreme bliss. How can we liken Sri Krishna\u2019s moon\u2013face with the full moon? <\/span><\/p>\n

Srip\u00e2d Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mi says, when a devotee\u2019s prem<\/em> increases every moment he gets to observe Sri Krishna from close quarters. Then he feels agony if he is separated from Him even for a second. The poet is very fortunate. He has Sri Krishna\u2019s darshan. <\/em>He is saying – “I have got the Beloved of my life\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

O Lil\u00e2shuk, how do you find him? <\/span><\/p>\n

The poet replies \u2013 tam\u00e2la\u2013neelam<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 He is blue like the Tam\u00e2l, which means He is the embodiment of Shring\u00e2r<\/em>\u2013Ras<\/em> (Since the colour blue stands for \u2018shring\u00e2r\u2019). Not only this, He is \u2018tarala\u2013vilochana\u2013t\u00e2raka\u2013abhiramam\u2019<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 spreading supreme bliss all around with His mischievous and beautiful pupils. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once more, how do you find Him? <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Mudita mudita-vaktra-chandra vimbam\u2019<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span>The poet utters mudita <\/em><\/strong>twice because Sri Krishna\u2019s moon face is extremely blissful.\u00a0 <\/span>We may ask, “Sri Bhagav\u00e2n is the embodiment of complete bliss.\u00a0 <\/span>How can we say His face is extremely<\/strong> blissful?\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>In this case, the definition of complete bliss does not hold good. Well, to tell the truth, when Sri Bhagav\u00e2n takes pleasure in His devotee\u2019s blissful love, even He who is complete bliss<\/strong> becomes exultant and the ocean of His bliss surges high.<\/span><\/p>\n
