Sri Lil\u00e2shuk saw such unparalleled expertise and said \u2018ch\u00e2turya-sima\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span>Next, he said \u2018Chatura-\u00e2nana-shilpa-sima\u2019<\/em><\/strong> – He is the height of Brahm<\/span>\u00e2<\/span>\u2019s artwork.\u00a0 <\/span>What he means to say is – Sri Krishna is supremely handsome.\u00a0 <\/span>When we see His natural beauty, we feel that by creating Him Brahm\u00e2 is displaying the zenith of his artistic talents.\u00a0 <\/span>Of course, Sri Krishna\u2019s form is sat-chit-\u00e2nanda<\/em>.\u00a0 <\/span>His form is in no way connected with Brahm\u00e2 and his talents.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Countless Brahm\u00e2s are born and they die while You have no beginning nor any end.\u00a0 <\/span>They are born and again merge into You just as waves rise and disappear into the ocean\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Even then, we feel – <\/span><\/p>\n

“Who is the creator that made such wonderful beauty and with what?\u00a0 <\/span>It looks as if He is showering Amritam<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Brahm\u00e2 stole the calves and cowherd friends of Sri Krishna. He repented and begged forgiveness for his apar\u00e2dh<\/em>.\u00a0 <\/span>He glorified Sri Krishna – <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“O the performer of amazing lil\u00e2s<\/em>! You incarnate in various forms – such as Matsya-avatar, Kurma-avatar etc. to fulfil the desires of your devotees, to destroy evil forces and to establish the path of righteousness.\u00a0 <\/span>Although You perform such wonderful pastimes in front of everyone, I too (forget others)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>cannot conceive Your glory in spite of meditating on You with wholehearted concentration.\u00a0 <\/span>Now You have descended in Your original form and are relishing Your swarup<\/em>–\u00e2nanda<\/em> by performing various pastimes.\u00a0 <\/span>Is it necessary to mention that Your glory is inconceivable to everyone?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Hence, the poet is only using customary speech when he says that Sri Krishna is the height of Brahma\u2019s artistic capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Saurabhya\u2013sima\u2019<\/em><\/strong> means \u2018the height of Sri Krishna\u2019s bodily fragrance\u2019.\u00a0 <\/span>Sriman-Mah\u00e2prabhu has described Sri Krishna\u2019s beauty with His sweet lips-<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Sri Krishna\u2019s eyes, navel, face, palms and feet – these are eight lotuses.\u00a0 <\/span>If you mix the fragrance of camphor with that of eight lotuses, then make a paste of golden sandalwood, aguru<\/em>, saffron and musk, and add it to the above fragrance, such is the aroma of Krishna\u2019s body \u2013 really, it is as if they have ganged up to commit dacoity.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Padma Pur\u00e2n says – (Lord Shiva told P\u00e2rvati Devi) – “O devi! An infinitesimal part of Sri Krishna\u2019s bodily fragrance is capable of mesmerizing the entire creation.\u00a0 <\/span>As soon as Sri Krishna touches anything, a wonderful and vast perfume comes into being. Flowers, aguru,<\/em> musk etc. possess aroma only because of His touch.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
