In the end Lil\u00e2shuk said, “mad-v\u00e2nin\u00e2m viharana-padam matta-soubh\u00e2gya-bh\u00e2j\u00e2m”<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span>. This means<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u2013 “Sri Krishna\u2019s beauty and sweetness is driving me crazy and my blessed words are extolling His glory. He is the playground for my words.\u201d The poet has said in verse 7 \u2013”May a little speck of Sri Krishna\u2019s glory manifest in my words!\u201d The Lord has granted his prayer. Therefore, he is saying, “He is the playground for my blessed words.\u201d Later on, he will say in verse 101 \u2013 “O Krishna! Although my words are wanton, they have become blessed by taking Your shelter (by glorifying You).\u201d In verse 8, he has said \u2013 “All glory to Sri Krishna Who is the life and soul of my words!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Srila Bhatta Goswamip\u00e2d says \u2013 Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is congratulating his good fortune and is describing Sri Krishna\u2019s amazing beauty in this verse. He is saying in wonder \u2013”Aho! What a result my pious deeds have brought! My sweet Lord has appeared before me! He is nourishing my playful words with Amritam<\/em> cascading down from the pores of His flute. Wherever I am experiencing the sweet notes of the flute, there my words are drowning in ras<\/em>. That ras<\/em> is Amritam<\/em> floating in the river of the musical notes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

How are the poet\u2019s words?<\/span><\/p>\n

Matta-soubh\u00e2gya-bh\u00e2j\u00e2m \u2013 <\/span><\/em><\/strong>the words are intoxicated with Sri Krishna-ras<\/em> \u2013 so much so \u2013 that good fortune worships them. They are intoxicated, fortunate and heart stealing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Chaitanya d\u00e2s Gosw\u00e2mi explains – Sri Krishna is nourishing the entire Creation with the Amritam<\/em> flowing from the pores of His flute. How far is He nourishing? He is nourishing only that region which is within the boundary of my words. How are my words? Well, my words may be inebriated, but they are so fortunate as to extol Sri Krishna\u2019s glory.75.<\/span><\/p>\n
