How is Sri Krishna looking? The blessed saffron from the Gopa damsels\u2019 breasts has coloured Him. He is looking all the more radiant and exultant. His dark complexion has become brilliant due to the saffron. The <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Vrajab\u00e2l\u00e2s<\/em> are naturally luxuriant and fragrant. When the saffron meets their breasts, it becomes blessed, for it gains these qualities. <!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">During <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha,<\/em> the Gopis had paled. Now Sri Krishna\u2019s embrace has made them joyful. He is weaving magic with His flute. Sri Krishna is the Originator of the sweet song of the flute. Thus Brahma, who was born in the lotus, got the G\u00e2yatri Mantra from the flute-playing Sri Krishna. They are like the teachings of the Upanishads since they unite the Soul (You) with the Super Soul (K\u00e2nh\u00e2). It makes the cattle happy, fills the universes with awe and pleasures the Munis. The song of the flute expresses the seven notes, manifests Omk\u00e2r (the primeval sound) and reigns Supreme.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Sri Lil\u00e2shuk was amazed and thought, &#8220;Is it possible that Sri Krishna is the Originator of this Venu-geet?\u201d Immediately he remembered a divine pastime and said, &#8220;It is nothing surprising \u2013 <strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">brahma-r\u00e2shi-mahase<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mi has explained the meaning \u2013 &#8220;There are infinite universes and infinite Brahm\u00e2s. They glorify Sri Krishna, Who is the Creator of them all.\u201d Is it surprising that He Who is the Creator of creators has created the Venu-geet? Sri Chaitanya Charit\u00e2mrita has described one portion of the Lord\u2019s majesty \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">&#8220;One day, in Dwaraka, the gate-keeper informed Sri Krishna that Brahm\u00e2 had come to see Him. The Lord asked, &#8220;Which Brahm\u00e2? What is his name?\u201d The gatekeeper returned to Brahm\u00e2 and inquired about him. Brahm\u00e2 was surprised. He answered, &#8220;Tell Him &#8211; Chaturmukh, the father of Sanak Muni, has come.\u201d The gatekeeper conveyed this message to Sri Krishna and took Brahm\u00e2 inside. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">He prostrated himself before the Lord. Sri Krishna received him well and asked, &#8220;Why have you come?\u201d Brahm\u00e2 said, &#8220;I shall state my request later. First, please clear my doubt. Why did you ask \u2018which Brahm\u00e2\u2019? There is no other Brahm\u00e2 than myself!\u201d The Lord smiled and meditated. Immediately innumerable Brahm\u00e2s appeared in His presence. They had ten, twenty, hundred, thousand, million, lakh, and crores of heads. Some had so many heads you would not be able to count them even. Then the Shivas came with lakhs of crores of heads. Ind<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras<\/em> with lakhs of crores of eyes followed them. When Chaturmukh saw this, he was at a complete loss. He felt like a rabbit amidst a herd of elephants.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">\u2013 (Sri Chaitanya-Charit\u00e2mrita.Madhya. 21.44-54)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">\u2018brahma-r\u00e2shi-mahase\u2019<\/span><\/em><\/strong><strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">also means \u2018the One Whose effulgence is called Brahman\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">&#8220;Sri Krishna\u2019s effulgence is supremely brilliant. Upanishads call His effulgence as the \u2018Pure Brahman\u2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">\u2013 (C.C.\u00c2di.2.8)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt;\" lang=\"EN-GB\">&#8220;Sri Govinda is supremely powerful. Brahman is His effulgence. It sustains and contains crores and crores of universes. It is entirely different from His immense majesty. It is complete, infinite and all pervading.
