I have just one loving devotee, like the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Brijw\u00e2sis<\/em> \u2013 and that is \u2013 B\u00e2dar\u00e2yani (Shukadev); he will narrate this most confidential Braj-leel\u00e2 to a small degree with profound love to his dear disciple Parikshit. In fact, it is due to such <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">rasik<\/em> orator as well as <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">rasik<\/em> audience that this most confidential <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras<\/em> of Braj-leel\u00e2 will spread in some places in the Kaliyug.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"mso-no-proof: no; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">(Commentary \u2013 Undoubtedly, Sri Krishna\u2019s <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">leel\u00e2<\/em> has such unimagimable impact. The effect of Braj-leel\u00e2 is the most impressive, since Sri Krishna expresses His sweetness to the fullest extent in Brijdh\u00e2m. This is because the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Brijw\u00e2sis<\/em> possess the sweetest <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem<\/em>. If He tries to describe Braj-leel\u00e2 Himself, the memory of Braj-<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem<\/em> depresses Him so much that He cannot express it any more. When Sri Bhagav\u00e2n started praising the immense fortune of Brijdh\u00e2m, Sri Uddhav, the best of ministers, was afraid that He would again swoon in love-ecstasy, and then they would have a problem. Therefore he signaled to the queens to come in front of the Lord. Then he made M\u00e2t\u00e2 Devaki and Rohini enter with food-items. After this, he told Baladev tell Him that Sri N\u00e2rad had\u00a0arrived.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">Sri Bhagav\u00e2n smiled and asked, &#8220;Why is N\u00e2rad not coming here directly, as he usually does? Who stopped him at the gates today?\u201d Sri Uddhav replied jovially, &#8220;O Master! His own shame and fear have obstructed him.\u201d Hearing this, Sri Bhagav\u00e2n arose and brought N\u00e2rad inside. He said, &#8220;O N\u00e2rad! O the best of my well-wishers! You are so eager to please me. O best of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">rasiks<\/em>! Today you have brought me great joy!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">O Devarshe! Although the memory of dear ones spark a fire of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em> in the heart which results in untold suffering, immense sorrow and misery, yet that grief results in supreme happiness. Hence it is more glorious that the joy of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">milan<\/em>. It arouses an indescribable ecstasy that is much more than that felt during <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">milan<\/em>. This heartache arises from <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem<\/em> and reaches the peak during <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em>. Yet the climax of sorrow results in ecstasy\u2014this is a fact that only a <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">rasik<\/em> can appreciate. He knows how the sorrow of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em> evaporates, bliss pervades the heart, and we can reside very happily as if we are experience the joy of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">milan<\/em>. In this manner, we get a continuous <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">sphurti<\/em> of the beloved and joy overwhelms the heart. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"mso-no-proof: no; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">(Commentary \u2013 <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Bhajan\u00e2nanda<\/em> (the bliss of performing bhajan) is more than <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">brahm\u00e2nanda<\/em> (the joy of merging with Brahman), while <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem\u00e2nanda<\/em> (the joy of eternal love) is greater than <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">bhajan\u00e2nanda<\/em>. However the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em>-sorrow that arises out of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem<\/em> is more than the ecstasy of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">milan<\/em>. The <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">premik<\/em> realizes a supreme bliss that is much more than all of these and it is inexpressible.)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">Due to this, although the heart is suffers the pangs of separation, we are highly miserable and we want to forever cry, we feel extremely sad when we do not crave for our beloved in sorrowful <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em>. Dear Devarshe! No one desires sorrow\u2014all of us want happiness. Hence I would like to comment that\u2014ice is the opposite of fire; yet whe we touch ice, at first our hands and feet become numb, and as we continue to touch it we feel aburning sensation as if we are in contact with fiery coals. However we do know that we are not touching burning coals, rather we are in contact with ice, which is its opponent. The cold sensation is true, and not the buring, since our skin cannot possibly burn in the absence of heat. Similarly, the sorrow of a lover in <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em> is false, and in reality, he is happy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"mso-no-proof: no; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">(Commentary \u2013 Sri Krishna-<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem<\/em> is joy personified. When we feel sorrow and craving that arise out of Sri Krishna-<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">prem<\/em>, then we should know it to be a pleasure. However it is true that in this world, the separation of lovers is indeed very painful.)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: right -326.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-no-proof: no;\">There are some who do not like the sorrow of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em>, yet they welcome <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">viraha<\/em> as \u2018supremely favorable\u2019. Why? <span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0<\/span>Please know that a lover considers any situation that reminds him of his sweetheart as the \u2018elixir of life\u2019. A lover hates anything that makes him forget his beloved\u2014it is worse than death! Although it is impossible for him to forget his darling, if she comes to his memory in a special way, he feels thankful and happy. He feels as if someone has blown new life into him. The zenith of love is wonderful and special.
