hen Sri Krishna gave darshan<\/em> to Sri Lil\u00e2shuk, he experienced the infinite sweetness of every part of His body and was astounded. Srila Krishnad\u00e2s Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mi says that the poet has recited this verse in amazement. Earlier he had prayed (KK12)\u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“May those lotus feet of Sri Krishna, that are the seat of the eternal pastimes of all universal beauty; that overshadow the beauty of a host of lotuses; that are honoured as being extraordinarily capable of sheltering surrendered souls, be a source of inexpressible happiness to me.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Just now Sri Krishna gave darshan<\/em> of His lotus feet \u2013 how wonderful! I had also prayed (KK54)\u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“My eyes are extremely thirsty to behold Sri Krishna\u2019s all enticing beauty. His face is lovely with soft dark eyebrows, His eyes are restless with deep passion, His lips are slightly reddish and He is making everyone dizzy with His flute.\u201d How incredible! Today He has given me darshan<\/em> and He looks exactly the same as I had prayed! I had implored Him (KK1.6) \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“May Sri Krishna\u2019s lotus-face blossom eternally in the lake of my mind!\u00a0 <\/span>His lotus-eyes resemble two buds.\u00a0 <\/span>The resonance of the flute is the honey of this lotus.\u00a0 <\/span>His soft cheeks sparkle like mirrors.\u00a0 <\/span>May this lotus-face of Vibhu (Sri Krishna) manifest in my heart that is like a lake.\u201d Now I have darshan<\/em> of His lotus like face \u2013 I cannot believe it!\u00a0 <\/span>I had begged of Him (KK13) \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“He is captivated by Love, He is the seat of Supreme Beauty, He is forever new, He is charming and graceful at every moment \u2013 may that Kishor Sri Krishna with His large alluring eyes be forever inspired in my heart.\u201d Now I have darshan <\/em>of Sri Krishna\u2019s lotus-eyes that I had coveted for so long.\u00a0 <\/span>I cannot believe that this is happening! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this manner, Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is beholding every part of Sri Krishna\u2019s body and he is amazed. In some texts, we find \u2018vapuramba<\/em>\u2019 instead of \u2018vapurasya\u2019<\/em>. \u2018Amba\u2019 means \u2018Oh mummy! (= How unbelievable!)\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d says that in the verse Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is describing His life and soul Sri Krishna as \u2018amazing\u2019. Sri Krishna\u2019s lotus feet have attractive designs such as the flagstaff, thunderbolt, barley, goad etc. They are extremely marvellous and supremely attractive. It is near impossible to obtain Sri Krishna\u2019s lotus feet. The great sages do not get their actual darshan<\/em> but they only see them in meditation. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Krishna\u2019s feet are easily available to the Brijaw\u00e2sis. We too can get this special mercy by having Braja-<\/em>prem<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Sri Lil\u00e2shuk himself has observed \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“O Krishna! You freely sport in the dirt of the cattlemen\u2019s courtyard, yet are You too shy to appear at the yagnas<\/em> of the Brahmins? You answer to the mooing of the cattle in Braja, yet remain silent when the great saints sing Your glory. You are so much eager to become the plaything of the Gopa-maidens, yet when the Munis in sh\u00e2nta ras<\/em> implore You to become their Master, You turn down their prayer. Therefore I have concluded that we can obtain your beautiful feet only with prem<\/em> and nothing else.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Krishna\u2019s eyes are amazing due to their style of glancing and various expressions. Similarly, His face too is full of incredible beauty and sweetness. Sri Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d has accepted \u2018vapuramba<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 instead of \u2018vapurasya<\/em><\/strong>\u2019. This indicates that the poet has exclaimed “Oh Mummy!\u201d in disbelief.\u00a0 <\/span>Sri Krishna\u2019s body is amazingly sweet. Its loveliness defeats soft and serene clouds, the blue lotus and the brilliance of the blue gem. The Brajab\u00e2l\u00e2s make His beauty even more captivating. Saint poet Gy\u00e2na d\u00e2s says \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"gopi-geet-004\"<\/a>“His face resembled the full moon of the sharad purnim\u00e2<\/em> and He exuded deep blue radiance. His eyes were like a pair of intoxicated bumble bees hovering beneath His arched eyebrows. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, my dear, I beheld N\u00e2gar<\/em> Nanda-kishor. He stood there lazily and glanced slightly at me \u2013 immediately my heart melted.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

His chud\u00e2<\/em> was fashioned with wild flowers and a wisp of hair fluttered around His face like honeybees. A curl tumbled on His forehead covering the chandan-tilak<\/em> partially \u2013 it looked like the cloud trying to hide the rising moon.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A gemstone necklace sways on the vast expanse of His chest while gem earrings swing playfully on His ears. Dear friend, He is all-attractive. Poet Gy\u00e2na d\u00e2s says \u2013 it is worth clinging to our life to behold his beauty.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Srila Chaitanya d\u00e2s Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d has written: Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is experiencing Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness as it extends its empire on the Brajadevis bosom. The saffron from Priy\u00e2ji\u2019s breasts has colored His lotus feet so they are amazing<\/strong>. The poet looked up at His face and said \u2013 Priy\u00e2ji\u2019s nail-marks have made His face more alluring than ever. Therefore, it is very amazing<\/strong>. He gazed at His eyes and said \u2013 Priy\u00e2ji has kept Him awake the entire night, so they are lazy, pink, sleepy and extremely amazing<\/strong>. Then he looked all over His body, saw the signs of Priy\u00e2ji\u2019s lovemaking, and said \u2013 His gorgeous body is the most amazing of all.<\/strong> The poet is so astounded that he is uttering \u2018chitram chitram<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 so many times. Srila Chaitanya d\u00e2s has connected this verse with Verse 87 (the Braja Devi\u2019s bosom is the empire where Sri Krishna performs His love sports) and has rendered a magnificent explanation. Surely, the readers find it very appealing.89.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
