Meaning – “In a village called \u00c2rit, there resides a holy place called R\u00e2dh\u00e2kund, which is the crest-jewel of Brajdh\u00e2m. It was born from the mercy of Sri Chaitanya Mah\u00e2prabhu and became all the more holy because Srila raghun\u00e2th d\u00e2s Gosw\u00e2i resided here. Therefore we consider it to be the topmost pilgrimage for the Vaishnavs. <\/span><\/p>\n

Two lakes appeared in the midnight of the dark fortnight in the month of K\u00e2rtik. They were the water-forms of the divine couple sporting together and they hold the waters of all the holy places. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Radhakund was manifested by Srimati R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni while Shy\u00e2msundar revealed the Shy\u00e2mkund. The lakes love each other\u00a0 <\/span>as if they are two bodies with a single soul. They have appeared on earth to scatter mercy on one and all, because Sri Hari bestows His bounties on us simply if we bathe once in the lakes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Every day during the midday, the Divine Couple unites here on different pretexts. This is verily the ground for love-sports. Radhakund has eight flower-groves on eight corners and beautiful swings for the pleasure of the divine couple and the <\/span>sakhis.<\/span>This is why I pray to dear R\u00e2i and K\u00e2nu that I may get to live on the banks of R\u00e2dh\u00e2kund, not only in this life, but birth after birth \u2013 I seek nothing else. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
