The <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em> are so chaste that no one can pierce their heart. Such remarkable Vraja <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em> (who are absolutely free from every <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">anartha)<\/em> too become extremely agitated upon hearing the song of the flute. <!--more-->In the evening, the demi-goddesses pluck celestial flowers from the gardens of heaven. When they hear the sweet notes of the flute, they are startled. When they behold Sri Krishna, their hands tremble. The flowers slip through their hands and bathe His beautiful form.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Such is this extra ordinary Vastu and the poet has expressed it in the words \u2018<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">svas-taruni-kar\u00e2gra-vigalat-kalpa-prasuna-\u00e2plutam.\u2019<\/em><\/strong> Overpowered with love, Lil\u00e2shuk has used the word \u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Kalpa\u2019<\/em> instead of \u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Kalpa-taru\u2019<\/em>. Sometimes we use a part of a word to denote the whole word, for e.g. \u2018Bhim\u2019 refers to \u2018Bhimsen\u2019 only.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">Srila Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d says that, in this verse, the poet has described Sri Krishna\u2019s extreme beauty. He says the word \u2018<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">svah\u2019<\/em><\/strong><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"> <\/em>may refer to all the worlds above the third <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">swarga<\/em><\/span><\/span><a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn2;\" name=\"_ftnref2\" href=\"#_ftn2\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>Hence, \u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">svah\u2019 <\/em>also includes the Vaikunthas. Hence, it also means that the flowers slipping off the hands of the Laxmis bathe Sri Krishna. The Laxmis of Vaikuntha are not so lucky as to touch Sri Krishna directly, since we cannot obtain Him in the mood of opulence.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>Yet the Laxmis are unable to control the desire to touch Sri Krishna. Therefore, if not directly, they wish to associate with Him indirectly by showering flowers on Him to worship Him. Nevertheless, the moment they behold His infinitely beautiful face, they are full of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">s<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">\u00e2<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">ttvik-bh\u00e2v<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> (raptures) and they forget to shower the flowers. Then the flowers just slip from their hands and fall on Sri Krishna. We are not supposed to use fallen flowers for worshipping. However, Sri Krishna is renowned as the \u2018One Who fulfils all the desires of His devotees\u2019.
