The Pujari was shocked as well as angry as it was not right to eat before Krishna had finished his bhog. He complained to Sri Goonsaiji maharaj, the eldest son of Sri Vallsbha Achraya. Goosainji called Chitt Swami for clarification , though Sri Goonsaiji knew well his eternal form as a Krishna-sakha in Braj leela. Chitt Swami told that as soon as Srinathji finished raj bhog he runs away to the forest and it is difficult for him to look for Sri Nathji. As he always get prasad after Sri Nathji had taken his meals, he becomes late to find and play with him. So he had decided to eat along with Sri Nathji. that’s why. “If we finish together then we can go together”- simple explanation. Sri Goonsaiji said nothing at this point as he was well aware of his eternal identity and instructed the pujari to give Chitt Swami prasaad immediately once you serve Srinathji inside. He should not wait till the prasaad was brought outside. He explained to the pujari that he has to do this because, you see, Chitt Swami, he has to go with Sri Nathji too, and if he becomes late Sri Nathji is worried. And should we make Sri Nathji worried? The priest got the point.

Sri Chitt swami was a such a great devotee of Srinathji and he wrote many pads in glorification of Sri Krishna leela.

Courtsey : Vijay dada

About 500 years back, one of the ashta sakhas of Sri Nathji used to live in Srinathji and he was serving Kanhaiya in sakha-mood. He would enter Krishna’s Braj pastimes in the mood of his cowherd friend.
