He started and ended the prayer with &#8220;Om\u201d, the mystical syllable containing the universe, the transcendental sound vibration Lord Krishna mentions in the Holy Gita. He has been awarded &#8220;World Interfaith Leader Award\u201d by National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rajan Zed also met Alaska Governor Sean Parnell, Lieutenant Governor Craig Campbell, Senate President Gary Stevens, House of Representatives Speaker Mike Chenault, Social Services Commissioner Bill Hogan, Education Commissioner Larry LeDoux, Catholic Bishop Edward Burns, Juneau City Manager Rod Swope, on the occasion and presented them with a copy of Bhagavad-Gita each.
