Vraja is a land of sweet love. <span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>Over and above that, the damsels of Vraja are constantly in a state of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Mah\u00e2bh\u00e2v<\/em>. Hence, all qualities of Sri Krishna such as beauty, sweetness etc. is revealed to them to the maximum extent. Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d says, &#8220;\u2019Vastu\u2019 is the One who mesmerises even the \u2018<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">\u00e2tm\u00e2r\u00e2m\u2019<\/em> sages by His sweetness and plays the magical flute that enchants them and makes them faint; He is the One who verily enamours all creation, especially the hearts of the Vraja-beauties who are the best of all women.\u201d<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">This \u2018Vastu\u2019 is eternally \u2018Nava-Kishor\u2019. The Vraja-<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">gopis <\/em>are chaste.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>They are homemakers and therefore not free to move about. Sri Krishna is worried \u2013 how will they arrive for the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s<\/em>-dance? If they do not come, how will the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s<\/em>-dance take place? Desirous to relish the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s-ras<\/em>, Rasik-Shekhar<\/span><a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn1;\" name=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"#_ftn1\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"> Sri Krishna played His flute. The song of the flute was so blissful that He Himself was bewitched. The <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em> went mad when they heard the song. They ran to Him and when He heard the tinkle of their anklets and <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">kanchi<\/em><\/span><\/span><a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn2;\" name=\"_ftnref2\" href=\"#_ftn2\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">, His heart was put to rest. It became <strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\">&#8220;<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">nirv\u00e2na<\/em> \u2013 <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">nirvy\u00e2kulam<\/em>\u201d <\/strong>(peaceful and stress-free).<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"><strong>The Vraja\u2013beauties focus on, are attracted by and are addicted to only one object \u2013 Sri Krishna\u2019s lotus\u2013feet<\/strong>. The elders of the family admonish them. They have to consider the family honour and social norms. All these are very strong shackles that bind them and obstruct them from meeting Sri Krishna. To liberate them from these shackles is His own prerogative \u2013 &#8220;<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">hasta\u2013nyasta nat<\/em>\u2013<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">apavargam<\/em><\/strong>\u201d meaning, \u2018nothing can stop them from beholding Sri Krishna the moment they hear His all\u2013enchanting flute.\u2019 Sri Krishna Himself is telling them \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">&#8220;<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ya ma bhajan durjara\u2013geha\u2013shrinkhalah<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>samvrishchya tadvah prati\u2013yatu<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>sadhun\u00e2<\/em>\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">Meaning \u2013 &#8220;You have performed my <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">bhajan<\/em> by completely severing the invincible fetters of family and society.\u201d<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>&#8211; S.B.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText2\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Explanation of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">\u2018akhilodaram\u2019<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">This Object is \u2018<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">akhilodaram<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 as well. Poet Jayadev writes \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">During the Vasanta\u2013<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s<\/em><\/span><\/span><a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn3;\" name=\"_ftnref3\" href=\"#_ftn3\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><sup>3<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">, a friend told Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 \u2013 &#8220;Dear <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">sakhi<\/em>! Behold how Sri Krishna has delighted all the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis<\/em> and has aroused their bliss! He is celebrating the \u2018Festival of Love\u2019 with His very soft Shy\u00e2m-like form, resembling a host of blue lotuses, and the Vraja\u2013beauties are embracing Him in every possible way. Thus, He is freely sporting in this \u2018Spring Festival\u2019 like erotic <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras <\/em>personified.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">Another meaning of \u2018<strong style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">akhilodaram<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 is \u2013 This \u2018Vastu\u2019 is generously attributed with many worshipped qualities and in this respect, no one can beat Him or even equal Him. In qualities such as &#8211;<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span>loving the devotees, being merciful, enjoying sweet pastimes, displaying sweet love, playing on the sweet flute and revealing His sweet beauty, Vrajendra-Nandan Krishna is unsurpassed. Thus, R\u00e2s-Rasik-Shekhar<\/span><a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn4;\" name=\"_ftnref4\" href=\"#_ftn4\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><sup>4<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> Sri Krishna alone is Lil\u00e2shuk\u2019s worshipped \u2018Vastu\u2019. Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d has written \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">&#8220;To relish special <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">ras<\/em> in the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">kunja<\/em> &#8211; which means &#8211; to perform confidential pastimes with Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni, Sri Krishna cleverly beckoned Her with His eyes, from amidst the millions of Vraja-<em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Gopis,<\/em> to a secluded spot and started the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s<\/em>-dance.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\">The above-mentioned verse is a reflection of Sri Lil\u00e2shuk\u2019s third verse. The first part of the third verse refers to how Sri Krishna beckoned to Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 with a mischievous signal of His eyes and took Her to a secluded <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">kunja.<\/em> He definitely uses some of His best qualities \u2013 that is &#8211; the waves of nectarine <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">l\u00e2vanya<\/em> and covetous glances for this purpose. The bank of the River K\u00e2lindi is the stage for the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s-<\/em>dance. It is needless to say that the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">R\u00e2s-rasik<\/em> Sri Krishna is a realm of infinite sweetness. If Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d had not explained the <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">bh\u00e2v <\/em>of this verse, it would have been impossible for the readers to delve into greater depths of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">bh\u00e2v<\/em>. Anyhow, Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d has given two explanations for this verse. He has said \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Verdana;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoBodyText\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">&#8220;I shall explain the meaning arising out of the external feeling (as a <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">s\u00e2dhak<\/em>) in short and the real meaning arising out of internal feeling (in <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">siddha-deha<\/em>) in details.\u201d<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background: white;
