Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d had quoted the sign of anur\u00e2g<\/em> as follows:-<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“The \u2018r\u00e2g\u2019<\/em> that appears to be novel at every moment and makes one\u2019s beloved appear ever-new \u2013 is called \u2018anur\u00e2g<\/em>\u2019. Anur\u00e2g<\/em> creates unlimited thirst. This thirst gives rise to ever new varieties in one\u2019s beloved although we may be seeing him daily.\u201d<\/span><\/span> <\/span>– (U.N.) <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Poet Vidy\u00e2pati has given an example of anur\u00e2g<\/em> \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“janam avadhi ham, rup niharinu,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

nayana na tirapita bhela,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

lakh lakh jug, hiye huye rakhinu,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

tabu hiya judana na gela.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

vachana amiya \u2013 rasa, anukhan piyalu,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

shruti \u2013 pate parasha na bheli,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

kato madhu \u2013 yamini, rabhase goainu,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

na bujhinu, <\/span>kaichhan keli.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meaning \u2013 “I beheld His beauty since my birth; but still my eyes are not<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

janama abadhi ham rup neharinu,nayana na tirapita bhelo<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

satisfied. For millions of yugs<\/em> have I clasped Him to my bosom, yet my desire is not quenched. How many sweet nights have I spent in celebrating the Festival of Love, still I fail to understand anything of it.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anur\u00e2g<\/span><\/em>\u2013filled bhajan<\/em> is extremely sweet<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d says, Lil\u00e2shuk\u2019s bhajan<\/em> is according to the R\u00e2g\u00e2nug\u00e2<\/em> path. Hence, at first, he has explained the poet\u2019s internal state. He says that, Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is present in his siddha\u2013deha<\/em> where Sri Krishna is performing His pastimes. In front of him, Rasik\u2013Shekhar Sri Krishna, Who is the commencer of the R\u00e2s<\/em>\u2013dance, is present with Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni, Who is the Chief danseuse and is full of supreme anur\u00e2g<\/em>. They are surrounded by sakhis<\/em> who are ever ready to serve Them. Sri Lil\u00e2shuk also considers himself one of the sakhis<\/em><\/strong>. This is the bhajan<\/em>\u2013process of R\u00e2g\u00e2nug\u00e2\u2013bhakti<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/span>We have to consider ourselves as sakhis<\/em> and perform bhajan<\/em> under the instructions of the \u2018nitya<\/em> \u2013 siddha\u2019<\/em><\/span><\/span>1<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> <\/span>sakhis<\/em>. It is impossible to enter the pastimes of Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2\u2013Krishna if one is not a sakhi<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Chaitanya-Charit\u00e2mrita says \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“The pastimes of Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 and Sri Krishna are very confidential. The devotees who are in parental mood or in the mood of servitude cannot perceive these leel\u00e2<\/em>s. Only the sakhis<\/em> are allowed to enter these pastimes and they alone enhance the Divine sports. These sweet pastimes are not relishing without the sakhis.<\/em> The sakhis <\/em>bring about these pastimes and only they relish them<\/span>. You cannot enter these pastimes without taking shelter of the sakhis<\/em>, and only those who take the shelter of a sakhi <\/em>are permitted to enter. Only such a devotee can achieve the s\u00e2dhya<\/em><\/span><\/span>2<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> of serving the Divine Couple in the flower grove. There is no other way to achieve this goal<\/span><\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
