Kanchan\u0101 and Amit\u0101, the two confidantes of Priy\u0101ji knew what was going on in her heart, and they were full of sorrow.\u00a0 They were worried ofr her. They could not rest in peace even for a moment. \u00a0They would try to seek newer and newer means to assuage her scorching Gour-viraha.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">One evening, mah\u0101-tapasvini Priy\u0101ji, her heart brimming with Gour-viraha sat facing the window.\u00a0 Her day had been full of strict Bhajan, and just now she had taken some pras\u0101dam. Gouranga\u2019s house had everything but one \u2013 Gouranga himself! Priy\u0101ji was lost in Gour-conversation with her sakhis. Suryadev was faltering in the sky of Nadia. He was scattering his last bit of splendorous rosiness on the banks of the Ganga. Slowly, the moon started rising. The moon-god too felt the absence of the Moon of Sridh\u0101m Nabadweep (Nabadweep-Chandra); as a result he was pale. Virahini Priy\u0101ji could sense the pain of the Moon-god, and shed copious tears. All three were gazing silently at the sky, they had their Harinam-mala in their hands, tears of prem in their eyes, and Gour-viraha in their hearts. If one thing was predominant in this Mahagambheer\u0101 &#8211; the Gour-devoid Gour-home \u2013 it was silence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Amit\u0101 could bear it no more. She broke the silence by starting Gour-kath\u0101.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u201camit\u0101r goura-kath\u0101, k\u0101nchan\u0101r g\u0101n,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Birahini Bishnupriy\u0101r r\u0101khoye je pr\u0101n.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Sakhi Amit\u0101 started speaking in her usual simple manner. She gazed at virahini Priy\u0101ji\u2019s sad face and said, \u201cSakhi! I have a dear wish to hear from you the glory of your Pr\u0101navallabh, Nadiya-n\u0101gar Sri Sri Gourasundar!
