I wish I had even one drop of the fathomless Gour-prem that you possess!\u00a0 Ahh! How blessed would I have felt! You see the world Gour-full, wherever you gaze, you see Gour-vision, yes? When will I be so fortunate? \u201cPriy\u0101ji then turned to Kanchan\u0101 and cried, \u201cTell me Kanchane! Like Amit\u0101, if I too would have been so blessed to get Gour-darshan everywhere and in everything, then would your Nadiy\u0101-n\u0101gar Nabadweepchandra still remain in Neel\u0101chal?\u201d Speaking thus, Priy\u0101ji hid her face in her dear friend Kanchan\u0101\u2019s lap and started sobbing. When I sing your glory I wish all my organs would become tongues so that I could loudly glorify you all day and night. Your golden form is agog with the fragrance of lotuses \u2013 O why don\u2019t all my organs transform into nostrils? You are so gorgeous that I crave to touch you \u2013 O why do all my organs not become skin so that I could embrace your sweet self? I would be so immersed in bliss that I would have forgotten everything else.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Your sweetness is so immense that I am not contented to relish it with one sense organ alone, since the moment I start savoring your sweetness, the other sense organs pose obstacle. When I behold your beauty, I am so spellbound that my tongue refuses to chant your sweet name. Similarly your fragrance enchants me such that I cannot keep my eyes open to take your darshan. Alas! It is impossible to serve you simultaneously with all the senses! Therefore I pray to you &#8211; please let me relish your loveliness to my heart\u2019s content with at least one sense organ. She had lost all capacity to speak. Her tears flowed like the torrential rain in the month of Shr\u0101van and seemed to flood with Gour-prem the Gour-home that was now devoid of Gour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">We learn from Priy\u0101ji the manner of exclusive Bhajan, steadfast Bhajan, and the result of such deep Bhajan.\u00a0 Priy\u0101ji is revealing to us that, in Kaliyug our Bhajan has to be soaked in tears. However we must note that like Priy\u0101ji our tears have to be silent; we should not cry loudly and beat our chests. Our hearts must palpitate loudly and cry out silently in Gour-viraha. It should wrench in pain that will bring the pleasure of prem, just like tasting hot sugarcane juice. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Some moments passed in this manner. Although it was only evening time, the Mah\u0101gambheer\u0101 Mandir of Nadiy\u0101 was silent. The servants, animals and birds were all expressing their solidarity with Priy\u0101ji in her viraha and assisting her in Aik\u0101ntiki Bhajan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">After a long time Priy\u0101ji controlled her feeling of Gour-viraha and gradually came to her external sense. Taking Kanchan\u0101\u2019s both hands in her own, she spoke very softly in a tear-choked voice.\u00a0 She cried in prem, \u201cbeloved sakhi Kanchane! You are the instructress of Gour-prem! From where did you learn such beautiful words? Why, I never knew such sweet bh\u0101v before ! Today I learnt \u0101tmanivedanam<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/kunjeshwari.com\/sweetblog\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/paste\/pasteword.htm?ver=327-1235#_ftn2\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">[2]<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\"> from you. O sakhi! I choose you to be my Guru for Gour-prem. You took so much mercy on me and soothed my scorching heart by your sweet Gour-kath\u0101. Had you not been so merciful I would have long ago drowned myself in the Gang\u0101.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Priy\u0101ji\u2019s humility was such that Kanchan\u0101 started wondering what to reply. Instead of giving Kanchan\u0101 a chance to reply, Priy\u0101ji folded her palms and begged her to sing one more Gour-song. Kanchan\u0101 was visibly embarrassed. She said, \u201cSakhi! If you embarrass me in this manner I will not be able to do anything for you. I am merely your maid servant who does your bidding. Since you command me to sing, I shall obey you.
