The poet realised all types of sweetness in Krishna. Therefore, he called Him \u2018madhurima \u2013 swar\u00e2jyam\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span>Sri Krishna is a vista of sweetness. Sri Krishna is the very embodiment of sweetness. Every facet of Sri Krishna is sweet, whichever aspect you may relish with whichever sense, everything appears sweet.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“madhuram madhuram vapurasya vibhor \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

madhuram madhuram vandanam madhuram,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

madhu \u2013 gandhi mridu \u2013 smita \u2013 meta \u2013 daho madhuram,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

madhuram\u00a0 <\/span>madhuram madhuram\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Sriman-Mahaprabhu Who was afloat in the flood of Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness, expressed the sweet meaning of this verse from Sri Krishna-Karn\u00e2mritam to Sri San\u00e2tan Gosw\u00e2mi in the following manner \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>“O San\u00e2tan!\u00a0 <\/span>Krishna\u2019s sweetness is an ocean of nectar. My heart is like a typhoid\u2013patient. It wants to devour the entire ocean. Nevertheless, Dr. Misfortune does not allow me to drink a single drop.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Krishna\u2019s body is like a sweet dish with a sweet filling inside it. And His moon\u2013face is sweeter than the sweet. And His moonlight smile is sweeter than the sweeter than the sweet. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He is sweeter than the sweet, sweeter than that, still sweeter than THAT!!!\u00a0 <\/span>A single drop of this sweetness immerses entire creation while the sweet filling floods all the directions.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Lil\u00e2shuk has relished Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness as a sakhi<\/em> subjugated to Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 only.\u00a0 <\/span>Later on (in verse no. 76), he has said \u2013 “r\u00e2dh\u00e2<\/strong> \u2013 payodharot \u2013 sanga \u2013 sh\u00e2yine.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meaning \u2013 “I pay obeisance to the One Who rests on Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2\u2019s bosom (Sri Krishna)\u201d \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Again \u2013 in verse no. 106 he has said \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“ye va shaishava \u2013 chapalya \u2013 vyatikara r\u00e2dh\u00e2 <\/strong>\u2013 carodhomnukhah\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meaning \u2013 “May my heart overflow with Your mischievous youth that is eager to obstruct Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 on the way.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is clear that Lil\u00e2shuk relished Sri Krishna\u2019s sweetness as a sakhi<\/em> subjugated to Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 and not independently.<\/span><\/strong> Srila Kavir\u00e2j Gosw\u00e2mi is now describing Lil\u00e2shuk\u2019s external state.\u00a0 <\/span>“As a s\u00e2dhak<\/em>, he is telling his companions \u2013 It is not as if That Vastu (refer Verse 2) of Vrind\u00e2van is present only in Vrind\u00e2van.\u00a0 <\/span>We worship Him even here.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In Srimad-Bh\u00e2gavatam, Srip\u00e2d Shukamuni has quoted Lord Brahm\u00e2\u2019s prayer \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>“Whoever says he knows the glory of Sri Krishna, let him know, but my Lord! Your infinite glory is unknown to my external or internal senses.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The same is stated in Sri Chaitanya-Charit\u00e2mrita –<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

“jei kohe sri krishna mahim\u00e2 mui j\u00e2no, se j\u00e2nuk,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

mui punah ei m\u00e2tra m\u00e2no.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

tom\u00e2r je ananta baibhab\u00e2mrita \u2013 sindhu,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

mor mano \u2013 gochar nahe t\u00e2nr ek bindu.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is uttering these words in such a way as if he is very much astonished. He is saying “ami vayam<\/em><\/strong>\u201d – The word \u2018ami\u2019<\/em> is used because he is remembering the early phase of his life. He is saying – “Is it not surprising that materially enchanted people like us are also worshipping That Object (Vastu) Who is worshipped by Brahm\u00e2 and Shukadev?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>He uses the word \u2018vayam\u2019<\/em> (we) to include his companions as well. Sri Lil\u00e2shuk is saying \u2013 “Is there any object other than That Shy\u00e2msundar Nava Kishor dev in Vrind\u00e2van who can be our shelter?\u00a0 <\/span>Friends, hear That Object\u2019s characteristics \u2013 He is the great lover on the banks of the River K\u00e2lindi.\u00a0 <\/span>It is His most favourite place for sporting.\u00a0 <\/span>It is so beautiful, so entirely charming!\u201d <\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
