In the verse, “Sri\u201d <\/strong>means all-prosperous. When Sri Krishna casts His merciful glance at a devotee,<\/strong> he automatically gains all sorts of spiritual prosperity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Srila Chaitanyad\u00e2s Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d has written – Sri Lil\u00e2shuk saw that Sri Krishna\u2019s eyes looked beautiful due to His love for Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 and therefore they manifest various special and handsome bhaavs<\/em> such as the soft smile and sidelong glance.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the beginning of his explanation of this verse, Srila Bhatta Gosw\u00e2mip\u00e2d has written that Sri Krishna\u2019s eyes are reflecting sweeter-than-sweet pastimes, and Srip\u00e2d Lil\u00e2shuk\u2019s heart is absorbed in the sweetness of those eyes. He is praying for a \u2018sphuran\u2019 of how Shy\u00e2msundar is making love with His eyes. He has used the word \u2018nah<\/strong>\u2019 to mean \u2018we\u2019 thus including his companions in his prayer. May Sri Krishna, the Master of our souls manifest Himself in our hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sri Lil\u00e2shuk has described Sri Krishna\u2019s beautiful eyes as \u2018pranaya\u2013parinatabhy\u00e2m\u2019.<\/strong> \u2018Pranaya\u2019 means love. \u2018Parinata\u2019 means \u2018result\u2019. Any conscious being on which the Loving One casts His gaze becomes overwhelmed with love for Sri Krishna alone. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here \u2018Sri\u2019 means beauty and \u2018\u00e2lamban\u2019 means \u2018seat\u2019. It means that Sri Krishna\u2019s eyes are the ultimate seats of supreme beauty. <\/span>13.<\/span><\/p>\n
