The tenth skandha of Srimad-Bh\u00e2gavatam describes Sri Krishna\u2019s infinitely beautiful pastimes. It gives us a darshan of this eternal, ethereal, divine prem, viraha, love-reminiscences and stupefies us in ecstasy. We are amazed with the vision of Bhramar-geet \u2013 how Srimati R\u00e2dh\u00e2r\u00e2ni is expressing Her divine love-delirium! And how nicely Srila Babaji Mah\u00e2r\u00e2j has explained this by illuminating the wonderful sev\u00e2 rendered by the manajris under the subservience of the sakhis ! Thus he has revealed to us the confidential divine pathway to Manjari-swarup-s\u00e2dhan\u00e2. On one hand, the sweetness of Venu-geet blows transcendental erotic desire in non-conscious matter, and on the other hand w ehave Gopi-Geet that is a mega-feast of the subtle emotions of the Gopis overwhelmed with viraha ! Their passion pierces our gross body and immerses our antash-chintita<\/span>1<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> transcendental swarup<\/span>2<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> in the divine pastimes that Sri Krishna performs in the Gopis\u2019 heart that is like His playground of love. The sweet Gopi-geet fills our soul with anur\u00e2g and takes us to the height of supreme oneness with our siddha-swarup, brilliantly illuminating our eternal relation with the Supreme Lover \u2013 it is the height of intense exultation \u2013 it is an immense expression of the colossal attractive power that is Sri Krishna! Such is Srila B\u00e2b\u00e2ji Mah\u00e2r\u00e2j\u2019s expert presentation of this dramatic song. The hearts of the Gopis are submerged in the ocean of Sri Krishna-bh\u00e2v while imitating His leel\u00e2s. When they re-enact these leel\u00e2s mingled with their love-remembrances, the ras of their musical anklets applaud them. They bring us so close to Sri Govinda\u2019s captivating leel\u00e2s that we are maddened by the blissful blazing recollection, and realization of the vision and passionate touch of our Beloved.
