May the jingling of Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2raman1<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> Sri Krishna\u2019s gem-studded anklets, that is more delightful than the cooing of the swans wandering in the lotus-forest of K\u00e2lindi, be revealed in my heart.17.<\/span><\/p>\n

L<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

otus forests adorn the banks of the Yamun<\/span>\u00e2<\/span>. Therein lies the captivating Ashok\u2013kunja<\/em>. Taking the cue from Sri Krishna, Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 has reached that secluded Ashok-kunja<\/em>. Sri Krishna has met Priy\u00e2ji in that confidential flower\u2013grove. Sri Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2\u2013M\u00e2dhav have started their rasa-vil\u00e2s<\/em> very eagerly. In the form of a sakhi<\/em>, Sri Lil\u00e2shuk has reached the vicinity of Ashok\u2013 kunja<\/em> along with other sakhis<\/em>. He could hear the fascinating music of Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2\u2013M\u00e2dhav\u2019s anklets caused due to their confidential pastimes. Since the sound has risen from the divine feet during the course of their love-sport – it is more enthralling. On hearing this sound, Sri Lil\u00e2shuk, who is standing outside the kunja<\/em> with other sakhis<\/em> of his group, is composing this verse with great longing in his heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Viparit vil\u00e2s – The climax of love <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This verse indicates \u2018viparit vil\u00e2s\u2019<\/em> (when the lovers exchange their positions). It is of two types \u2013 (a) performed knowingly out of curiosity (b) so engrossed in love-making that the Divine couple loses all sense of difference between each other.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second one is the zenith of Sri Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2-Krishna\u2019s love-dalliance. It is called \u2018Prem-vil\u00e2s-vivarta\u2019<\/em>. In this, Sri Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2-Krishna lose all sense of difference \u2013 <\/span><\/p>\n

“n\u00e2 so ramana n\u00e2 ham ramani,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

duhun mana manobh\u00e2b pesholo j\u00e2ni<\/span><\/em>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meaning:- “Neither is He the lover, nor am I the beloved, our hearts have become one\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The point is that, at the zenith of love, Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2\u2013M\u00e2dhav have a very great desire to make each other happy. So when they become totally engrossed in love\u2013sport, their hearts become one. When the feelings are separated, there exists the sense of the lover and the beloved. When love climaxes, the differences disappear and one is not aware so as to who is the lover and who is the beloved. What exists is only engrossment in the dalliance. The insatiable desire for love-sport\u2013dalliance makes this engrossment the very deepest. At that moment Sri Sri R\u00e2dh\u00e2 \u2013 M\u00e2dhav express maximum sweetness. In this condition the jingling of their ornaments such as anklets, sound extremely nectarine to the sakhi\u2013manjaris.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
