Dear sweet devotees,
Today i came across a fantastic devotee, or rather he chanced upon me – he introduced me to an extraordinary book – “Bishnupriya in Gambheera”. It is a recording by Haridasji Goswami. It reveals such high level bhaav, i cannot describe. It contains some stanzas in Bangla – some evidences etc. and then translations of the Bangla portions.
Some part from this book that struck me –
” Bishnupriya ji was engrossed in her bhajan in her Deities’ room in Gambheera. Along with her two sakhis, Amita and Kanchan too were chanting silently. The time was night 3 O’ clock. Each of them faced a different direction. The chanted in manner that there was no difference between now between Naam and Naami. The were seeing Shyamsundar right in front of them, and the Mahamantra was humming in their heart, brain, consciousness and sub-consciousness. Their whole system was echoing with the beauty, splendor and sweetness of Krishna-naam. They did not know when they had attained samadhi.
Although Priyaji was chanting on the mala, there came a time, when the mala slipped from her hand, and fell on Prabhu’s sandals. But she was not aware – her Naam continued. She was immersed in the ocean of bhaav. From her eyes tears of prem overflowed – torrents of pure Ganga and Jamuna that were rushing to merge in the Sea at Neelachal. Priyaji was the embodiment of the meeting point of Nadia and Neelachal. “
Such a splendid example of nirjan bhajan – the ‘real’ thing. Radhe Radhe !!!
