COMPASSION – an ornament for the Vaishnavs

One of the best ‘saadhya’ or goals we can set for ourselves is to be a little more compassionate than necessary. Why? For ultimately all of us are banking on Swaminijiu’s kripa. How can i expect Her to be compassionate if i have none for my felow beings? i don’t want to reach out and help a suffering Vaishnav in need, then how will Ishwari illuminate my heart with sphurti of nikunja-seva ? How is it possible? Yes, It can be easy to let stress build up and consume our daily life. When this happens, being kind can be difficult. So, tonight let’s think about some ways to decrease our stress levels, enabling us to be more ‘doyalu’ – more helpful –  than necessary tomorrow and on.

One way to get rid of stress can be: Clarify, love (& if possible) serve the cause of stress…(& if it lasts till fourth level) blaming nothing else than one’s own karam-gati for Bhagvanera Maya is after all, infallible justice…in most cases there’s gr8 message Thakur wishes to give (about one’s aparadhas) through stress (just as the one u guessed above)! And even in that, not necessarily everything is becoz of prArabdha(remember BBji cursing his body)…. Anyway, if one survives the stress, the result is a good mental, intellectual, emotional & spiritual strength (probably as if we’ve passed the test… :grin:). Of that, there’s no doubt…Hare Krishna blitzes out of mouth with fiery intensity if one survives… One nice way can also be to engage in some other (devotional) activity involving gr8 skill/passion…well there are many techniques but no doubt perfection lies far…we actually need prema to survive everything in this world! After all, prema-bhakti satya kari jaano|| so the cause (& solution) should be devotional only in all cases & if it’s not then one is most probably surviving out of devotional ras (somewhere/for some time) in his life…(like mine in many cases)!
  2. Radhe Radhe! Basically, stress comes because one isn’t loving enough to Sri Yugal. The mind remains more expert in watching & catching stress than in serving & loving Them. One can consider how much aarti, utkanThaa, bhaav one has in heart before watching the stress being felt…how much is one able to serve in leela… Rather than being just a little kinder, better wud be a little more loving too! 😀 If u get pain be it for Radha Krishna! If u get stress, that’s surely becoz “I’m wrong somewhere…!” (& no doubt even if I’m serving Them at that moment I’m stressing Them too!) If u get bliss, serve & dance for Radha Krishna! (aanand magana sahachari) But all in all, killer instinct is essential:radha krishna sevo mu~i jeevane maraNe…. PS: Don’t worry, I’m not even a zillionth of what I say…right now recovering from stress LOL
