i am simply an instrument of Krishna

Dear Sadanandi mataji writes – “Here is an excerpt from a letter by my Sri Guru Maharaj “- may be it will inspire you……..

He has written –

I find it quite interesting that you have got out of the tyranny of  “I have to do it – only in this way will it work” and came to the wise conclusion that “I don’t have to do it – IT happens through me.”

Right at this very moment, this is an important topic for me. For me to get into the NOW means to repose in the Being. This is, according to my understanding and my life, possible by four very simple exercises:

1. Gratitude – for really everything – practice to remain in this attitude

2. Practice detachment

3. Live and act in one’s dharma (or one’s intrinsic purpose)

4. Have A higher connection and let it happen

It is the greatest illusion of civilization, which one has to drudge for everything. This illusion obviously arises from that total separation. I found out that really great things always come about without any endeavour. They come about when one opens oneself to being an instrument forthat which is now.

  1. Radhe Radhe ! My Reverend Patidev who is also my Gurudev, reached the same conclusion a few years ago. 🙂 Since then he has been drilling it into me. However, sometimes i still slip.
  2. Radhe Radhe! All actions are done by His energies. Devotees have a good way of expressing this bhāv—all good things come by His kripā, & all bad things by “my foolishness”…though He says in Gita “all good & bad qualities emerge from Me.” And perhaps that’s the reason I always show anger over NONE but exactly Him when anything goes wrong…(& later say sorry to Him…)…thanks God to a few good things He brings sometimes… 🙂
  3. Radhe Radhe !! i hv this habit of blaming myself for everything bad – even the fact that i keep falling in Krishna-ishq everytime with the wrong sorts, who constantly jilt me. Although that is really HIS fault, na ???
