Throughout the centuries, Mother India and her people have received the greatest tributes from prominent members of other nations – people who mattered then and whose words still matter to the world. They are thinkers who have helped shape the world. So what do they say about India ?

Toynbee – British Historian I wonder if Arnold was thinking of the rise of Islam in India when he stated this? There is a global fear that Islam is going to “take over the world” and India has the largest or 2nd largest Muslim population of any country in the world – isn’t it? Indeed, I’ve heard some more fundamentalist Muslims say something to the tune of “We Muslims have been conquered and abused enough! Very soon we will show the world who we really are!” All of that in addition to some of the old school British and European orientalists having a sort of pro-Muslim cultural fetish, I’m wondering if Arnold falls into this category? Have you read any of his works?
  2. Radhe Radhe !! Srimad Bhagavatam states that all world will ultimately become Muslims. And that that women will be highly endangered. Who are we to challenge the prophecy of Srimad Bhagavatam ? It also says, it is then that the Lord will incarnate as Kalki avatar to reestablish Dharma. But that’s a long time away ! SIGH !!
  3. Radhe Radhe! Is it ? (I don’t see the word “Muslim” specificially used in Srimad Bhagavatam. Although Rupa-Sanatan too use the word “mleccha-jāti” (probably) for selfish/ill-treating muslims). Perhaps that’s why I see how modern scientific predictions go in line with the way Muslims define Kayāmat—sun enlarging & later turning into a white dwarf. And all souls freed from their dead bodies in graves & put into eternal hell/heaven as per karmas. This is just pratham-charaṇa of Kaliyuga. Which means what we see at RK is just the beginning!
