Dear devotees,

Radhe Radhe !

It fills my  heart with  sorrow as well as joy to aanounce that my dear friend Sadanandi mataji has left fro Golok Dham today early morning 5-30 . Her soul left amidst Harinam sankirtan, and in the presence of her Spiritual Master and other Vaishnavs. She had entered coma two days before, however she opened her eyes just the moment before she left. This proves that the Holy Name has profound impact on the consciousness and how the soul is ever awake and yearning for the Holy Name.

 Around three days before she had mailed me from teh hospital. Even in this state she was talking of fulfilling her duty, and how she did not want to leave the world without fulfilling her obligations. She wished to remain indebted. i was wonderstruck with her sense of responsibility and her loving thoughts touched me immensely. i wrote back saying not to worry and that her return home would be the best thing for her friends (like myself). She sounded so normal that at that time i did not think she would really go “home” – to Krishna.

i can not express the pain i feel –  my association with her ran so deep that words cannot describe. After the passing of my father, this is the next deep loss. Radhe Radhe.

  2. Radhe Radhe dada ! i am tooo sad, and my heart is broken entirely. i still cannot believe it. She had become absolutely OK. The doctors had guaranteed she’s be released. She told me – “Just a week more- i m just resting”. Dada, AmAr poribAre anya keu oke jAne nA. duhkho TA kAr sAthe share korbo ? The pain is too much. She and i would share certain experiences and conclusions, realizations that most probably some other devotee would have misunderstood, yet both of us understood each other perfectly. She was always very loving, open-minded and ready to absorb everything positive. To me it is a personal loss i cannot describe. After my father’s departure, this is the second loss that is hitting me so badly. i don’t think i can get over this easily.
  3. Radhe Radhe & dandavat pranam! So sorry & soooo sad to learn about this! Another great devotee disappeared! 🙁 I wonder if she told you the news (clearly) right! Out of love she’d never have said that she’ll be gone. There can be two reasons for doctors to release a patient— one is positive: when he/she gets cured. And other…when they can’t cure the problem. Forget others, even I do say (double meaning) statements like these…although never to devotees!
  4. Radhe Radhe ! No dear, she really believed that she’s be alright. You c, she was aking me – hv you dont the next lecture of CCn ? Then pl can u send it? Alos she was making some plans for the future. Her GS too said that the doctor was positive that everything was normal. O fourse she had to undergo an operation, to which she agreed. But that was to be at a little latter date. If hte docs had given up on her, they wouldn’t have suggested it, also they ahd decided in which hospi they would do it. i understand you fully. My dear, i am not like you – i cover up for my pains to anybody including devotees. Somehow i can never share with anyone except DH. So far i hv never hidden anything from him. Oh oh the pain of losing Sadanandi has returned again.
