This year we had a mega dhamaka on Gour Purnima – much more than last year – remember when Neelu perfromed his mind blowing leela and wet the altar in not only his own house but also at his friend’s ? Well, this year he was a good boy – and why not ? Since it had already been decided to make him the centre of all attention. Here we are getting geared for the first bath – with Panchamritam.


Milk-bath

Ghee-bath is over - now for the honey-bath.

Time for all the fruit-juice baths - grapes, pineapple, watermelon, banana, chikoo, apple, mosambi, orange, musk melon and so on.

NOW starts the war.......and here you see the objects we are going to pummel.

The ammunition ........

The first attack - with dry gulal (naturally made , brought from Nathdwara)

Second attack - with weapons shaped like syringes (lovingly called pichkari)And now you know why the Brahman is "concealed under screens", eh ? (screens of Gulal)

Vaishnavs rejoicing after winning the war.

....and when you remove the screens, what do you get ? Oh no !!! Neelu ! HIDE !

  1. Radhe Radhe! OMK! SEVENTY DISHES! You’re GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR8! Truly reaching eternal Vraja standards! And numerous colors & bathing material…WOW! How many hours it took? Seventy two? I’m sure you never had this capacity before! Really, your temple is better & sweeter than many temples out there! A belated HAPPY HOLI from my side too!
  2. Radhe Radhe & dandavat pranam! Another great part I see in your SweetVision Holi photos is just by 7 AM…your Thakurs’ Holi is complete!!! All the seva tasks, bhajan, bath, dressing coloring, cooking & offering bhog,…really at home you do what hundreds of hardworking folks never dream of doing in “offices”. This & all the jubilant seva you do there is just AMMMAZZING! Wonderful! Rarely people are blessed with such jubilant sanga & kirtans! Unlimited glories to your Thakurs!
  3. Radhe Radhe ! Thank you ! everything is possible only due to the kripa and ashirwad of advanced Vaishnavs such as yourself. Honestly, even i don’t know how abhishek was over by 7 PM ! After this we had the kirtan, and Bhog, aroti, prasad. But we were free by 9 PM. We even went for our night walk that doctor made compulsory for me, and slept at a decent time. 🙂 Wish you were there with us.
