Gopi-prem is like an ocean, and when there is an exultation in this ocean, it brings forth a divine nectarine ras called ‘Sri Sri Geet-Panchak’. It literally means ‘Five Songs’ viz. Sri Venu-geet (Song of the Flute), Sri Gopi-geet (Song of the Gopis), Sri Yugal-geet (song of the Divine Couple), Sri Bhramar-geet (Song of the black-bee) and Sri Uddhav-geet (Song of Uddhav). Srila Ananta das Babaji Maharaj who is the Mahant and Pandit of Sri Sri Radhakund has compiled these five songs from Srimad Bhagavatam into a highly relishing bouquet having divine fragrance. We beg the readers to read the introduction thoroughly since Prabhupad Sri Binodkishore Goswami has explained nicely the essence of each song.
