Gour Amrit Bindu

One day a  Shiv devotee came to Nabadweep. He started dancing and singing for Lord Shiva. He had done this all his life . Gauranga was watching him. Suddenly  Gauranga jumped and climbed on the back of the Shiv devotee. He said, ‘’ I am Shiv, I am Shiv ‘’  Most surprisingly,  the  devotees present there saw the Lord as Shiv,  with a dumroo in hand and matted hair and saying to all ‘’Bom Bhole !!’’

The  Shiv devotee had glorified Shivji all his life;  as a result Lord Gauranga became pleased with him and climbed on his back, otherwise he would not have done like that. Later on that devotee became unconscious as a result Gaurhari got off from his back. Mahaprabhu later on put something in his thela, after which the Shiv devotee left that place…..(Sri Chitanya Bhagabat)

  1. Radhe Radhe ! Nice post dada ! Shivji is silver-white in complexion (rajat-giri-nibham = silverine peak of the Himalayas), Gourhari must have looked very handsome as Shivji. 🙂
